Hello, this is State Representative Matt Bliss.
Health care costs have gotten out of control in recent years. Many people in our area have shared with me your concerns over soaring deductibles, overwhelming medical bills and uncertainty about whether your coverage will actually be there when you need it most.
I promised to make these issues a top priority when you sent me to the Capitol two years ago and I am proud to have delivered.
While I am proud to have delivered on my promise to improve health care in our state, more work remains to deliver the system Minnesotans deserve and restore our state’s status as a national leader.
I am State Rep. Matt Bliss and I remain dedicated to lowering health care costs for you and your family. I would be honored to earn your continued support and vote on Tuesday, November 6th.

Hi, I am State Representative Matt Bliss.
Two years ago, the residents of District 5A placed their trust in me to put their interest’s first ahead partisan gridlock.
We broke through to rally support for local K-12 education funding, construction of a new student center at BSU, jobs for our region, and especially building a new veterans home in Bemidji.
I am proud of what we have accomplished together for our region and the state of Minnesota.
We have lots more to do so let’s continue to work together to put Northern Minnesota first and keep the momentum going.

Two years ago, residents of District 5A placed their trust in me to put their interests first ahead partisan gridlock. We broke through to rally support for local education funding, more jobs for our region, and support for more than 28,000 regional veterans.
Our local schools received nearly 4 million dollars more in state funding this biennium than before, so we are starting to get our fair share along with additional money to help ease our busing shortfall.
Between funding for a new student center at BSU and some much needed regional transportation and infrastructure funding, we are both investing in the next generation AND creating lots of new LOCAL jobs!
I am especially proud that we finally secured state funding to build a veterans home in Bemidji. They have long deserved it!
Let’s continue to put Northern Minnesota first because there is plenty more to do in our region and we are showing that by working together and sticking to our values and principles, LOTS of good things happen!
Matt is proud to announce his bid for re-election has been endorsed by the Minnesota Farm Bureau PAC.

Well, we did it! Final numbers 10,326 to 8,818. I wanted to thank my friend John Persell on a fair and competitive campaign, and for his years of service to our district. I am really looking forward to representing the people of House District 5A in St. Paul.
