Bliss Endorsed By Minnesota Chamber Leadership Fund PAC
BEMIDJI – Matt Bliss has received the Minnesota Chamber Leadership Fund PAC’s endorsement in the Minnesota House District 5A race. A press release from the organization indicates Bliss was endorsed because of his commitment to economic growth and job creation.
“Matt Bliss is a champion of the business community and our PAC’s endorsement recognizes his hard work on behalf of Minnesota employers and employees,” said Bill Blazar, treasurer of the Leadership Fund PAC, in the release. “Matt is committed to economic growth and job creation in Minnesota – voting for Matt is a vote for a brighter economic future for residents of House District 5A and for Minnesota.”
Bliss, who owns Bliss Point Resort in Pennington, said he was pleased to receive the business group’s endorsement and is committed to bringing better paying jobs and a more prosperous future to Minnesota.”
“Income levels in our area are lagging behind the state average,” Bliss said. “The challenge is in improving the business climate so we can attract new workforce development and increase access to increased wages in this region. I look forward to bringing my experience as a business owner to the table on these issues, serving as a voice for workers in our region.”
Bliss’ family has roots in Beltrami County dating back nearly 100 years. A Navy veteran member of numerous outdoors associations, Bliss has operated the family resort since 2001.
